The short answer
- Consider Navattic when an editable HTML tour is central to the buying journey and the plan supports your creators.
- Starter includes one seat and one HTML or media demo; paid plans require a quote.
- A capture is a snapshot, not the live application. Test how your team updates and retrieves it.
Build an editable tour
Navattic’s getting-started page describes HTML capture and editing. Capture represents a product screen; it does not make the demonstration a live application. Test complex screens, sensitive data and the actions a buyer must complete before relying on a tour.
Use synthetic records and inspect the published route. If buyers need to explore beyond a guided path, test the required sandbox behavior separately.
Count creators and the plan
Navattic pricing lists free Starter with one seat, one HTML or media demo, unlimited views and basic analytics. Base lists five seats and unlimited HTML demos; Growth lists ten seats and sandbox demos. Base and Growth are billed annually; the pricing page does not publish their prices (checked November 5, 2026).
Ask for the price and permissions for every creator, the necessary integrations and the terms that apply after the trial. Starter is a continuing free plan, not a paid trial.
Maintain a library
Navattic’s workspace guide describes a capture as a snapshot that multiple flows can reference. Updating that shared capture can affect those flows. Its guide separately describes duplicated demos, whose changes do not affect the original. Navattic pricing lists the capture library on Base.
The same guide recommends recapturing changed screens and selecting the replacement in a flow. Check which captures are shared and which are copies. Do not assume a product change automatically updates either.
Plan retrieval before leaving
Navattic’s terms specify 30 days for electronic retrieval of Customer Data after termination, seven-day nonrenewal notice and an offboarding call for customer-initiated termination. Review your order form and agree the retrieval format. The terms do not promise a portable, self-hosted editable demo.
Inventory embeds and owners, preserve lead evidence separately and open the retrieved files. Establish whether the next tool can use them before removing a live demo.
How to compare the alternatives
Storylane offers screenshot and video tours and HTML on Growth. Supademo lists guided HTML on Business and sandbox on Growth. Compare the same required experience and creator count, not just the free plans.
Use the same safe fixture in each product: capture a representative workflow, edit a label, reuse a screen and then change the source application. Time the repair and inspect every published destination. Submit a synthetic lead, view the embed on a phone and open each available export outside the account.
