Storylane pricing lists one published screenshot or video demo and one seat on Free. Supademo pricing lists five guided interactive demos and one creator on Free. Test a fixed-screen tour against the buyer’s actual task.

If the labels or images must change, test HTML on the intended plan. A capture is a simulation, not a connection to the live application.

Price the upgrade

Storylane pricing lists HTML on Growth, with five seats, at $625 per month with monthly billing or $500 per month with annual billing (checked November 5, 2026). Starter supports screenshot and video demos.

Supademo pricing lists guided HTML on Business at $199 per month on annual billing, including one creator. Growth lists sandbox and versioning at $350 per month on annual billing, including five creators.

Supademo displays $50 per month per extra creator, but the billing cadence for that charge is unclear. Confirm it and all required seats in a quote. The two HTML plans include different seat counts and features; the headline amounts alone do not decide the purchase.

Storylane pricing lists sandbox demos as a Premium add-on and includes them on Enterprise. Test the required experience and obtain a quote for the plan.

Test reuse and versioning

Storylane’s management guide describes copying screens and chapters between demos of the same format. Supademo pricing lists demo versioning on Growth. Neither fact establishes automatic synchronization of copied demos.

Reuse a screen in several tours, change a field in the source application and record the repair. Check each published destination and the permissions of the person doing the work.

Inspect the visitor and event

Publish a test embed in the same page layout and open it on a phone. Submit a synthetic lead, compare the event with the intended CRM record, and check fallback behavior when a visitor is unidentified.

Supademo pricing lists tracking links and analytics on Scale. Storylane pricing lists basic analytics on Free. Compare the specific events and integrations needed on the plan you will keep.

Test the exit

Storylane’s export guide lists GIF, MP4, PDF, Word and Markdown. GIF and video lose interactivity, and offline viewing does not capture analytics. Check the artifact you need; an offline route is not proof of a portable editable project.

Supademo’s FAQ says existing demos remain available after a downgrade with free feature restrictions, while premium features revert. Check the link, branding and call to action on the intended plan. This does not establish what happens after account termination.

Keep the exported files and lead evidence separately. Confirm whether the next tool can use each artifact before replacing an embed.

Run the same trial

Use the same safe fixture in each product: capture a representative workflow, edit a label, reuse a screen and then change the source application. Time the repair and inspect every published destination. Submit a synthetic lead, view the embed on a phone and open each available export outside the account.
