Evidence before endorsement
Vendor pages establish what a company says its product does. They do not substitute for an independent test. Product notes link to vendor documentation and show when it was checked.
Practitioner discussions raise questions to test. Search-selected comments are not a representative satisfaction survey. The paid-media guide shows sampling limits beside its chart and source records beneath it.
Testing and review status
A tested product needs a record of the plan and date, the task and inputs, and the results and limits. Current product notes are documentation research, not hands-on reviews.
The guides use AI assistance in research and writing. They identify whether a claim comes from vendor documentation, a practitioner discussion or a direct test.
Commercial relationships
Paid placements carry a sponsorship label beside the sponsored content. The entry text carries the disclosure, and the sponsor’s link is marked as sponsored. The page’s structured data names the sponsor. Search engines and AI tools can see the label when quoting or summarizing the page. A sponsor can verify facts and approve agreed sponsored copy; purchasing a placement does not buy an editorial ranking or a positive review.
Quillwell also builds Adswell, a paid-media product. We disclose that relationship in relevant guides. Current product notes contain no paid placements or affiliate links.
Corrections and updates
A correction needs the page URL, the statement at issue and a supporting source. Corrections are reviewed before a guide changes. The source lets us check the affected statement.
