What you send us
The request form asks for your name, email, a website and a message. Your company, timing, the page you’re writing about and how you found us are optional. Please don’t include passwords, account access, customer records or confidential campaign data.
Where it’s kept
Requests are stored privately with Netlify, which hosts this site. Only people with access to Quillwell’s Netlify account can read them. When a request is saved, its details are also emailed to Roman through Resend, an email delivery service, so he can read and answer it. You get a reference number when your request is saved. There’s no confirmation email.
We use what you send to handle your request. The optional answer to “How did you find us?” helps us understand how readers find the guides.
If saving fails, the form says so and keeps your details on the page so you can try again.
In your browser
Your shortlist is saved in this browser’s local storage. You can clear it from the shortlist page. After you send a request, its reference is kept for this browser session so the confirmation page can show it. Form drafts aren’t saved.
Other services
Fonts load from Google Fonts. Links to vendors and sources take you to sites with their own privacy practices. There’s no advertising tracking on these pages.
Counting visits
We count page views with Google Analytics, set up so it uses no cookies and keeps nothing in your browser. Each page view gets a new random ID, so visits can’t be joined up or followed from page to page. Google receives the request, including your IP address, the page address, the site that linked you here and basic browser details, and handles it under its own privacy policy. Advertising features and Google signals are off. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is sent.
The server also notes when AI crawlers, such as OpenAI’s or Anthropic’s, fetch these pages. That note holds the crawler’s name and the page, and nothing about readers.
Questions, or deleting what you sent
Quillwell LLC publishes these guides. Email roman@quillwell.com with questions about information you’ve shared, or to have it deleted. Include your request reference if you have one, but don’t send passwords or confidential records.
