The short answer
- Consider Chili Piper when the work includes qualification, routing, ownership and sales handoffs alongside booking.
- Growth starts at $1,250 per month billed annually with 15 seats; standalone ChiliCal has a 200-seat minimum and no routing.
- Test owner matching, fallback and the actual CRM update with representative records.
Price the platform and the calendar separately
Chili Piper pricing lists Growth from $1,250 per month including 15 seats, with additional seats at $45 per seat per month. Scale starts at $3,500 per month with 30 seats and $50 per additional seat per month. The vendor says plans are billed annually.
Standalone ChiliCal is listed at $12 per user per month with a 200-seat minimum and no orchestration or routing. It is a different purchase from Growth. Obtain a quote for your actual seat mix, credits and contract term.
Design the route before the calendar
Growth pricing describes form-to-meeting booking, CRM ownership and sales handoffs. Distro documentation describes routing rules and an assign-and-update-ownership action. Decide which submissions qualify, which must be reviewed, and which should reach a calendar.
Create a test matrix covering a qualified new lead, a disqualified lead and an incomplete record. Compare the displayed next step and the CRM assignment with the agreed result. A booked meeting and an assigned CRM record are separate outcomes.
A routing assignment and a CRM ownership change are separate actions. Concierge flow documentation describes an Update Ownership action; confirm the behavior of each actual flow rather than assuming an assigned meeting changes the CRM owner.
Test matching and fallback
Ownership scheduling links can route to a CRM owner and use a round-robin fallback if no owner is found. The documentation says a shared ownership link needs an email or CRM ID parameter unless the stated extension or Concierge-link exceptions apply.
Lead-to-account matching documentation describes a configurable account-domain fallback when no matching contact is found. Test an existing owner, no match, a shared domain and an unavailable owner. Confirm the configured behavior and investigate mismatches before launch.
Salesforce setup requires administrative authorization and specific API and object permissions; Distro also requires Streaming API. Review permissions with the CRM administrator and test the integration in a sandbox. The sources reviewed do not establish a numerical routing-volume limit; confirm it in the contract.
Multiple-calendar documentation calls secondary calendars read-only and says they expose busy time, but conflicts between six total and six additional connections. Confirm the limit, primary-calendar permissions and visibility settings for your account; do not assume primary access is limited to free/busy.
Compare the complete workflow
Calendly and Cal.com also document routing alongside team scheduling. Compare the same qualification, existing-owner and fallback cases, then price the required plans for your actual hosts. Chili Piper’s platform minimum is material when simple scheduling is the main requirement.
