Existing videos do not expire under that guide. [Vidyard’s pricing](https://www.vidyard.com/pricing/) lists unlimited recording on Starter, while Teams adds CRM and marketing automation integrations. Confirm what the Free account actually permits before planning embeds. Confirm seats, fair-use and bandwidth terms in the plan or quote rather than assuming a public playback allowance. Confirm the current checkout terms and feature entitlement, including the CRM connection, before treating the rate as a quote. ## Distinguish a play from an identified viewer [Vidyard](https://knowledge.vidyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009998933-How-Vidyard-tracks-and-identifies-viewers) says views are anonymous until associated with an email through a tracked link, form or another identification method; only identified view data is shared with connected CRM or marketing platforms. Shared devices, cleared cookies and forwarded tracked links can distort attribution. Treat a match as a signal, not proof of an individual’s identity. [Vidyard](https://knowledge.vidyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009877034-Capture-viewer-information-with-a-Vidyard-or-MAP-form) describes in-video forms and mapping to a connected marketing system or Salesforce. Confirm integration entitlement, required fields, consent and whether a downstream contact was actually created or updated. [Vidyard](https://knowledge.vidyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009877234-Create-a-HubSpot-form-that-resumes-playback-after-submission) says inserting a HubSpot form alone does not identify the viewer. Check the tracking integration and browser context as well as the form submission. ## Control access and embedding Choose the sharing and embed restrictions appropriate to the audience, and check password and security features on the actual plan. Test a public page, a private link and a restricted user separately; analytics and tracking may depend on the embed and consent settings. Confirm video downloads, captions, forms, access restrictions and sharing pages separately: an analytics report is not a portable player or complete video archive. A view count alone does not establish who watched. Check the product’s identification method, consent and integration requirements. ### Does downloading a video preserve the full experience?
