## The short answer

- [Unbounce](https://unbounce.com/pricing/) combines hosted landing pages and forms with experimentation on higher plans. Its current pricing page lists a new Hybrid builder; confirm which editor and features apply to your account and existing pages.
- Budget for traffic, root domains, users and the plan that includes the optimization you need. A page count alone does not describe capacity.

## Size the plan for campaigns

[Unbounce’s plan comparison](https://unbounce.com/compare-plan-features/) lists monthly billing at $29 Starter, $99 Build, $149 Experiment and $249 Optimize. Its displayed monthly equivalents on annual billing are $22, $74, $112 and $187 respectively. Check the annual charge and renewal terms at checkout.

The [pricing page](https://unbounce.com/pricing/) lists Starter with 5 pages, traffic up to 500, one user and one root domain. Build lists unlimited pages, up to 20,000 traffic, one user and one root domain. Experiment lists up to 30,000 traffic, three users and two root domains; Optimize lists up to 50,000, five users and three root domains. All list unlimited conversions and subdomains. Ask how traffic is counted, what happens above the limit, and whether overages or upgrades are automatic before forecasting spend.

Root domains and subdomains are different limits. Map each client’s domains and publishing permissions before choosing a plan. Confirm SSL setup, DNS ownership and tracking scripts in the actual publishing configuration.

[Unbounce’s overage guide](https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044911872-What-Happens-if-I-Exceed-The-Traffic-Limit-on-My-Plan) says traffic is pooled across the account and pages remain live above the limit. It states a one-time $80 fee per additional 10,000 visits, rounded up, at the end of the billing cycle; upgrading before that point can avoid the fee. Confirm the rule for your agreement and monitor campaign spikes.

[Unbounce](https://unbounce.com/product/features/automatic-ssl-encryption/) says it automatically generates SSL certificates for connected domains. Check DNS ownership and certificate status before directing paid traffic.

## Choose an experiment method

The [plan table](https://unbounce.com/pricing/) places unlimited A/B testing, variants and manual traffic allocation on Experiment; Optimize adds AI traffic routing. A controlled split helps compare variants against a defined goal; automated routing serves a different optimization purpose. Agree on the goal, traffic allocation and stopping rule before launch. Do not assume either method guarantees a lift.

## Test the lead handoff and exit

[Unbounce’s HubSpot guide](https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/203509934-Integrating-with-HubSpot) says its native integration is for Marketing Hub, not HubSpot CRM; CRM may require Zapier or a webhook. It maps fields to a selected HubSpot form and requires republishing. Verify the destination accepts the record, not merely that the source sent it.

[Unbounce](https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415068235924-Troubleshooting-Integration-Errors) says webhook errors appear in integration details and some failures can be resubmitted. The receiving server determines the response. Confirm field mapping, authentication, retries and duplicate handling with the destination owner.

Unbounce lists lead generation forms and integrations on its [pricing page](https://unbounce.com/pricing/). Confirm whether your CRM connection is native or requires a webhook or intermediary and whether it carries custom fields, consent and campaign parameters. Send a synthetic lead through to the CRM, then reconcile it with the page conversion and ad platform.

Ask for a lead export and a sample page migration before committing. A CSV of leads is not necessarily a portable page design, experiment history or analytics archive. Record DNS, pixels, redirect and SSL responsibilities for an eventual move.

[Unbounce’s lead guide](https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/203510244-Getting-Your-Leads) describes CSV downloads by date range for a page or client. It directs Hybrid Builder users to separate form instructions, so confirm the export path for your editor and reconcile fields and counts before migration.

## How to compare the alternatives

Compare the same campaign with [Instapage](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/instapage/) and [Leadpages](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/leadpages/). The [Unbounce vs Instapage comparison](https://quillwell.com/guides/compare/unbounce-vs-instapage/) separates plan limits from experiment workflow. See the [forms](https://quillwell.com/guides/form-builder-software/), [CRM](https://quillwell.com/guides/crm-software/) and [PPC](https://quillwell.com/guides/ppc-management-software/) guides for the rest of the handoff.
