## The short answer

- Scrunch combines AI answer monitoring with an optional agent-facing delivery layer. [Agent Pages](https://scrunch.com/platform/agent-experience/) describes delivering a transformed version of site content to AI retrieval agents through the CDN.
- Scrunch’s [pricing page](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) displayed different plan names and allowances in separate views, with an entry offer from $250 per month. In the brand comparison table we saw, AXP is listed as custom under Enterprise and absent from Core. Confirm current terms and delivery entitlement.
- [Scrunch’s API FAQ](https://scrunch.com/faqs/what-apis-does-scrunch-offer-and-how-do-they-work) describes raw responses and citations. Its [data FAQ](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/13563748-data-faqs) says up to one year of data is available in the platform and via API; confirm the endpoint window and plan access.

## Choose a panel to monitor

Start with the prompts, engines, countries and competitors that represent your buyers. Record the configuration with every report so a changed panel is not mistaken for a change in visibility.

Different views of [Scrunch pricing](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) showed Core and Starter with different prompt allowances. Its [pricing FAQ](https://scrunch.com/faqs/what-is-the-pricing-for-scrunch-plans/) also describes Core. Confirm the plan name, billing basis, engine coverage, refresh cadence and allowance in the order.

A mention, a citation and a visit answer different questions. Inspect the underlying answers and source URLs before interpreting a dashboard percentage as evidence of customer demand.

[Scrunch’s collection FAQ](https://scrunch.com/faqs/what-methods-does-scrunch-use-to-collect-data-from-ai-platforms) describes browser automation and APIs without mapping each engine to its method. It says new prompts run daily for 14 days, then every 72 hours by default, with on-demand refresh. Confirm the cadence and method for each engine and plan.

[Scrunch’s metrics reference](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/16823372-scrunch-metrics-reference-explorer-names-and-api-fields) defines presence as responses mentioning the brand. Its position average scores top, middle and bottom placement 100, 50 and 0 among responses that mention the brand. Neither score measures purchases.

[Scrunch Signals](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/15879296-understanding-the-signals-tab) describes competitive presence opportunities where a competitor appears without the brand, and content gaps concerning configured prompts the site does not answer. These are different from an owned page being cited in an answer. Review the underlying evidence before treating a signal as a content brief.

## Decide whether agent delivery is needed

[Scrunch Agent Pages](https://scrunch.com/platform/agent-experience/) describes intercepting AI retrieval traffic at the CDN and serving a structured version of pages, with integrations for Akamai, Cloudflare and Vercel. The vendor says the human-facing site is unaffected.

The brand [pricing table](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) we saw lists AXP as custom on Enterprise and not included on Core. Another pricing view uses different plan names and allowances. Do not assume the $250 entry offer includes delivery; confirm the current plan and quote.

This is a delivery feature, separate from observing answers or counting crawler visits. Ask which bots receive the transformed content, who approves changes, how it is rolled back, and whether pricing pages and restricted content are handled correctly.

Compare the delivered page with the canonical human page after every material update. We have not verified Scrunch’s delivery, impact on citations or compatibility with a particular CDN.

## Keep the evidence

[Scrunch’s API FAQ](https://scrunch.com/faqs/what-apis-does-scrunch-offer-and-how-do-they-work) describes aggregate Query API metrics and a Responses API containing full text, citation URLs and metadata. Its [data FAQ](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/13563748-data-faqs) says up to one year is available in the platform and via API. Confirm the window for each endpoint and your plan.

The API window is not a statement that older stored data is deleted. Ask about export, retention after cancellation, API entitlement, rate limits and whether the required records can be retrieved before relying on a historical report.

The [pricing page](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) places Enterprise Data API in Enterprise. Confirm access in writing rather than assuming that an API described in a FAQ is included in Starter.

## Compare the alternatives

[Peec AI](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/peec-ai/) is worth examining for a monitored prompt panel and its archive workflow. The [Peec AI vs Scrunch comparison](https://quillwell.com/guides/compare/peec-ai-vs-scrunch/) sets out the same data and coverage questions for both.

[Profound](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/profound/) describes answer monitoring and separate crawler analytics. The [alternatives guide](https://quillwell.com/guides/compare/profound-alternatives/) compares the jobs before choosing a tool. Test the same panel and export task and request comparable quotes.

## Common questions

### Does Scrunch deliver content to AI agents?

[Agent Pages](https://scrunch.com/platform/agent-experience/) describes CDN delivery to AI retrieval agents. The brand [pricing table](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) we saw lists AXP as custom on Enterprise, not Core; confirm plan entitlement and controls.

### How much history does the API expose?

[Scrunch’s data FAQ](https://helpcenter.scrunchai.com/en/articles/13563748-data-faqs) says up to one year is available in the platform and via API. Confirm the window for each endpoint; this does not establish deletion of older data.

### What does Scrunch cost?

Different views of [Scrunch pricing](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) showed an entry offer from $250 per month with different names and allowances. Confirm the billing basis and plan in your quote.

### Is monitoring the same as delivery?

No. Monitoring observes selected answers; Agent Pages is described as a way to deliver content to visiting retrieval agents.
