## The short answer

- Consider Coupler.io when your team already reports in Sheets, Looker Studio or a warehouse and needs scheduled imports.
- Count source accounts, destinations and the required refresh interval before comparing plans.

## Price the reporting setup

Coupler.io [lists Business Starter](https://www.coupler.io/pricing) at $32 monthly or $24 a month billed annually, checked November 4, 2026. It includes three accounts, one destination, daily refresh and 5,000 rows per run.

Coupler.io [lists Business Active](https://www.coupler.io/pricing) at $132 monthly or $99 a month billed annually, with fifteen accounts, three destinations and daily refresh. Pro includes hourly refresh. Check the agency offer separately before budgeting.

For a hypothetical small agency, four connected accounts already exceed Starter’s allowance. If it also needs two destinations, inventory both requirements and request a quote for the exact workflow. Account and destination limits are separate from any costs charged by the destination.

## Choose what each run writes

Coupler.io [describes Replace and Append](https://docs.coupler.io/getting-started/how-to-get-the-most-out-of-coupler.io) for spreadsheets and warehouses. Replace overwrites the previous imported data; Append adds rows. BI destinations handle data differently.

Use Replace for a current snapshot only after checking what else occupies the target range. With Append, test repeated pulls and corrected records: added rows can duplicate a period or preserve an older value. Keep a separate backup before changing the mode.

Coupler.io [schedules data flows](https://docs.coupler.io/getting-started/how-to-get-the-most-out-of-coupler.io) by interval, days, time and time zone. A scheduled run is not proof that the source has finalized its numbers. Compare source timestamps and destination totals before the reporting deadline.

## Plan access and recovery

Record the person who authorizes each source and destination, and who can reconnect it if access expires. Test a handoff with the client before a staff change. Ask support how ownership and credentials transfer for the selected plan.

Keep the destination data and a record of fields, filters, schedule and transformations. Rebuild a sample in another tool before cancelling, especially where a source API limits historical data.

Coupler.io [lists priority support](https://www.coupler.io/pricing) on its Custom tier. Ask what support and onboarding the proposed plan includes, and how urgent refresh failures are handled.

## How to compare the alternatives

Use the [reporting buying guide](https://quillwell.com/guides/reporting-software/) to compare connectors with client-reporting workspaces. The [Supermetrics alternatives comparison](https://quillwell.com/guides/compare/supermetrics-alternatives/) puts the account and refresh constraints side by side. Before moving, use the [switching checklist](https://quillwell.com/guides/switching-reporting-tools/) to preserve history and access. Compare [Porter Metrics](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/porter-metrics/) for reporting priced by connected account and [Windsor.ai](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/windsor-ai/) for source and task allowances.
