## The short answer

- Calendly is worth considering when a team wants shared scheduling and form-based lead qualification.
- Teams includes round-robin scheduling and lead routing; Salesforce lookup requires Enterprise according to Calendly pricing.
- Test the route, fallback and CRM record with new and returning prospects.

## Choose the scheduling and routing plan

[Calendly pricing](https://calendly.com/pricing) lists Teams at $16 per seat per month billed yearly, including round-robin scheduling, qualification and routing. Enterprise starts at $15,000 per year with 50 seats and lists Salesforce lookup. Confirm the quoted contract and any add-ons for your team.

Count hosts who need seats and identify which paths require CRM lookup. A team that only needs to distribute meetings can evaluate Teams; a Salesforce-owner lookup changes the plan decision.

The [pricing table](https://calendly.com/pricing) lists one calendar connection on Free and six on paid plans. Seats are for people connecting calendars and hosting meetings; invitees do not need seats. Confirm routing volume and any account-specific limits in your quote; the reviewed pricing page does not establish a numerical routing cap.

## Separate qualification from availability

Calendly says Teams can screen invitees and route them from Calendly forms or existing HubSpot, Pardot or Marketo forms. Map each answer to a destination, including an explicit path for a prospect who should not book immediately.

Test a qualified submission, an unqualified submission and an ambiguous answer. Record the intended destination before running the test, then compare the displayed calendar and the actual booking. A round-robin calendar alone does not establish that the right prospect reached it.

## Verify the owner and the handoff

[Calendly’s HubSpot lookup guide](https://calendly.com/help/how-to-set-up-routing-with-hubspot-lookup) lists Teams, Teams Plus and Enterprise, and requires admin setup and Managed Events. [Salesforce lookup](https://calendly.com/help/routing-with-salesforce-lookup-faqs) is listed for Enterprise; sending meetings to Salesforce on Teams is a separate capability. Confirm your CRM edition, matching emails and permissions before relying on ownership lookup.

[Calendly’s Salesforce lookup FAQ](https://calendly.com/help/routing-with-salesforce-lookup-faqs) says routing does not work with probabilistically encrypted Salesforce Shield fields. Deterministic encryption can work for exact, case-sensitive matches, but not domain-only, LIKE or STARTS WITH matching. Test the actual encrypted field and fallback with a Salesforce administrator.

Use synthetic new and existing contacts, including an owner who is unavailable or outside the eligible team. Inspect both the selected host and the CRM record after booking, rescheduling and cancellation. Agree who investigates a missing or mismatched record.

## Compare the job to be done

[Cal.com](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/cal-com/) offers hosted team scheduling and routing forms, with a different Organizations tier. [Chili Piper](https://quillwell.com/guides/software/chili-piper/) is worth evaluating when ownership assignment and multi-step inbound handoffs justify its platform minimum. Compare the same paths and total host count rather than treating all booking links as equivalent.
